Apprenticeships
Our vocational training in Germany currently comprises eight occupations in the commercial, industrial and technical fields as well as four courses of study at universities of cooperative education. We continually improve the contents of training to prepare apprentices for their professional life in a practical, future-oriented manner. This includes improving their English language skills to equip them for possible work in an international setting later on, and giving them the opportunity to get to know one of our locations abroad within the scope of a work assignment over several months.
Moreover, we have established an International Training Center within this area. At our training facilities in Coburg, Hallstadt or Wuppertal, foreign employees are schooled by experienced trainers in Brose-specific technical skills for which training is not available in their home countries.
The experiences of both apprentices and trainers show that international assignments further both professional and personal skills.

Our experiences
Matthias Huppmann, the future electronics specialist his assignment in Querétaro (Mexico):
“Working together was great fun. I was able to assist Mexican colleagues in the test center in performing hot and cold tests on window regulators. I was warmly received both at the factory and privately. I would do it again, any time, and I can only recommend taking advantage of any opportunity to work abroad that comes your way.”
