Coburg is the headquarters of the corporate group. The central departments, the seat adjuster business division and the divisions Purchasing/Development as well as Production are located here.

The former ducal town with a present-day population of around 42,000 has many attractive sights: the regional theater, an English-style castle garden and the Veste Coburg, one of the most beautiful castles in Germany, characterize the town. Other places of interest include the Ehrenburg castle and the well-preserved historical town center featuring the Münzmeisterhaus, one of Coburg’s oldest timber-framed houses dating from the 14th century.

Numerous events such as Johann Strauss days, the Schlossplatz Festival or the famous Samba Festival attract thousands of international guests each year. The region offers an expanse of recreational areas. In winter, it is only a 20-minute drive to the ski areas in the Thuringian forest.
