Germany - one country with many facets

Würzburg

The Brose motors division and the largest production plant for electric motors within the corporate group are based in the city of Würzburg, which is located in the "Maintal triangle" of Lower Franconia. The plant produces products such as air-conditioner blowers, motors and modules for engine cooling, drive systems for power windows, electric steering systems and motors for automatic transmissions.

The city of Würzburg is located in a scenic area of charming vineyards and the cityscape is heavily influenced by the Julius-Maximilian University, the University of Music and the University of Applied Sciences. The historic town centre has an active and varied nightlife with inviting clubs, bars and restaurants.

A vast number of cultural institutions and places of interest bear eloquent witness to the city's 1300 years of history and include the Würzburg Residence with the Court Gardens and Residence Square, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Every year, the city attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors both from at home and abroad to numerous events such as the "Residence run", the Africa Festival, the Kiliani Festival and the Johann Sebastian Bach Festival.
