Brose in Curitiba, Brazil
Brose’s Curitiba plant in the Brazilian state of Paraná was established in 1999. It produces window regulators, door systems, closure systems, seat adjusters, electric motors and drives and cooling fan modules. Brose do Brasil Ltda. supplies Automotive Components, Behr, Faurecia, Fiat, General Motors, Iramec, Lear, Toyota, Valeo and Volkswagen.
In September 2004, Brose do Brasil took over the window regulator business of Maxion Sistemas Automotivos S.A., a subsidiary of the Iochpe-Maxion Group. The plant in Sao Jose dos Pinhais was enlarged in 2011 when the entire production of Brose’s second Brazilian site in Salto was relocated to Curitiba.
Brose is the largest supplier of window regulators and door systems in Brazil and in the Mercosur states.
