Production Plants and Joint Ventures in Europe

The first of Brose's production plants started operations in 1919 in Coburg, trading under the name "Metallwerk Max Brose & Co.". From these beginnings emerged the Brose Fahrzeugteile GmbH & Co. KG, Coburg.

Since then, the Coburg headquarters has spurred the worldwide growth of the Brose Group. Even today, the Coburg location is where the CEO of the Brose Group and many technical and administrative group functions are based, controlling the global activities of the corporate group. The business division of seat systems is also located in Coburg.

Our Franconian headquarters concentrates on the production of complete seat structures, adjusters and components for almost all car brands in Europe, North America and Asia, focusing on products for Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche and Volkswagen.

Selected areas of pre-production for the manufacture of metal and plastic components are also located in Coburg, supplying Brose's international plants with technologically sophisticated components.
