Award from GM: “Supplier of the Year”

Brose Group. The Brose Group has been honored by General Motors (GM) as a “Supplier of the Year” for the third time. There were a total of 91 suppliers from 20 countries who won this award for their superior performance in quality, service, technology and pricing. Brose Executive Vice-President Adolf Rosensprung accepted the coveted award in Toronto/Canada.

Bo Andersson, responsible for worldwide purchasing at GM, praised Brose for its “excellent achievements in the year 2001" and at the award ceremony he underlined the importance of suppliers to GM: “The quality and the confidence in our vehicles depend to a very great extent on the success of our suppliers.” He continued:” Brose is an industry role model that through performance has set an example during the past year for other companies to follow.”

The Brose Group supplies GM with window regulators for the vehicle brands Opel, Saab, Vauxhall, Chevrolet, Pontiac and Cadillac from its plants in Coburg, Sta. Margarida (Spain), Querétaro (Mexico), Curitiba (Brazil) and Zhangjiagang (China). The GM Group is one of the automotive supplier’s most important customers.
