PKI and Email encryption

An ever-increasing amount of communication with our business associates is being carried out by electronic means using email. To ensure confidentiality, Brose provides the possibility of sending send encrypted emails via S/MIME.

This is based on an existing Public Key infrastructure (PKI) at Brose and requires communication partners to have an S/MIME-capable program, enabling messages to be encrypted and verified via digital certificates. The certificates issued within the Brose PKI are used exclusively to secure email-supported communication. These certificates are issued in accordance with the stipulations set down in the "Public Key Infrastructure Disclosure Statement"

Further information can be found in the Brose Certificate Policy (CP), which we will be pleased to send you on request. Please note "Document request CP" in the subject line: info@brose.com
